Privacy & account security
Passwords are salted and hashed. Your email, password hash, recovery-code hash, session records, and usage counters are stored securely on the server. Email addresses are not verified identities. Imported PDFs stay in your browser; selected slide text, notes and images go to OpenAI only for a teaching turn. Audio questions use your browser's speech service, or OpenAI when you record a question. Do not upload confidential student records. This app does not save your lecture or class audio. API provider retention policies still apply.
